BASQUE CENTER FOR APPLIED MATHEMATICS
The Simulation and Wave Propagation (SIWP) group at BCAM will be in charge of ADAM2. SIWP is devoted to the analysis of modern numerical methods (such as the finite element method (FEM) and the finite difference method (FDM)) and their applications to various real-life problems like geophysical applications and modeling of manufacturing processes.

ECOLE POLYTECHNIQUE FEDERALE DE LAUSANNE
The Chair of Numerical Modelling and Simulation of EPFL is in charge of simulation of the elastic behaviour of structures designed within ADAM2 . The team is a world leader in the use of isogeometric methods and their extensions to complex geometries, involving several patches, trimming and non conforming couplings. The area of expertise includes solid and fluid mechanics problems as well as electromagnetic propagation problems. The group has its core activities in the development of optimised numerical methods for the simulation of the elastic behaviour of micro-structured designs and for their optimisation.

TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAET WIEN
The lightweight design group of TU Wien is in charge of numerical analysis and topology optimization in ADAM2. The core expertise of the team is in numerical design of both engineering components and manufacturing processes. With this aim in mind, we develop novel numerical methods in the area of isogeometric analysis and deforming domain finite element methods. Our core activities in ADAM2 are related to topology optimization based on volume splines.
